WWI Memorial Arch

It’s not the most glamorous work, but 10-20min with pencil and watercolor captured the spirit of Autumn’s glory and the remembering of those who have come before us in St. Mary’s. This was done on an outing with my 5th grade students last year. We were sitting out in the sun, observing Autumn, and trying to see if we could draw any connections to the Catholic Liturgy of November 2, Autumn, and John Donne’s “Death be not proud.”
