This quaint scene was found in our little town St. Marys, KS. Each year the local community comes together to produce The Flint Hills Shakespeare Festival. The festival takes place in Sir William’s Hollow, a little woodland village. Our family sells hand pies at our booth, the Merry Pies of Windsor, and as I sat within, watching passers-by, I saw this scene right across the way and thought it’d make a nice picture. Almost European. Out came my sketchbook and portable watercolor kit and sometime later, this picture! Thanks to the owners for such a picturesque booth!

Super sweet! Keep em coming!!
