Hi there! I’m Bridget Bryan, a freelance writer, illustrator and creator who loves to capture life in story and pictures, discovering extra-ordinary in the ordinary!
In October 2019 I started this blog because my brother encouraged me to share my nature journaling. I also wanted to inspire people to create in their own way as well. Since I had just made a promise to do a little of what I love each day, it seemed a good place to start!
Ultimately, I wanted to see where it would take me.
After traveling to Egypt and Jordan a few months before, (and pretty much painting and drawing wherever I went like David Roberts), I came back knowing that art had to play a part in my daily life, and not just something that I occasionally did when I could get away from my grading and lesson prep.
It’s led to lot of beauty being produced, commissions, creations turned into stationary and sold wholesale at local stores, and my writing has finally been published in magazines!
The best part of it all? Seeing the joy writing and sketching brings to other people, especially when doing it sponantously on the street, and the unique experience of cooperating with the Divine Artist!
Recently, I took a year off from my profession of teaching to explore and see where it leads.
