This week I was able to go back and paint a few things I have seen at my sit spots. (A sit spot is a place where one goes and sits 20-30 min a day, outside. The idea is by knowing one place well, you actually learn about more about the world than if you were constantly seeing something new.) I have a weekend sit spot -near enough to my front door so that I can get there with my morning coffee!- and my school week one, closer to the wilderness. The first waiting was done in my weekend sit spot -local wildlife. 😉 The other two were done at or near my school sit spot.
